ovodonacion FIV con ovulos de donante en FIVIR Valencia

At FIVIR, our IVF with egg donation boasts an impressive success rate of 96%.

Once the oocytes from an egg donor are retrieved and prepared in our IVF laboratory, the process follows the same steps as classic IVF or Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI). The sperm used can come from either the partner or a donor, particularly in cases where there is no male partner or the partner’s sperm quality is not optimal.

In situations where egg donation also requires donor sperm, embryo reception can be a straightforward option. This involves the patient receiving a surplus embryo from another couple who have already completed their reproductive journey.

Donor selection

At FIVIR, we offer a secure egg donation program with no waiting lists. This means you can start your journey toward parenthood without unnecessary delays.

Comprehensive Screening for Donors
Our oocyte donors undergo thorough screening, including:

Extensive Blood Tests: To ensure optimal health.
Physical and Psychological Assessments: To guarantee that their gametes are suitable for safe treatments.
We carefully analyze each donor’s age, medical history, race or phenotype, and physical characteristics to ensure compatibility with the future family.

Will My Baby Look Like Me?

A common concern for many considering egg donation is whether the baby will resemble the mother. The answer is yes! Our donor selection process adheres to legal guidelines, focusing on the phenotype and physical traits of the mother to ensure a closer match.

Donor search

Once the patient has decided to undergo IVF treatment with donor eggs, our team starts looking for the ideal candidate: a woman between 20 and 30 years old, healthy and with similar characteristics to the future mother, who has decided to donate her eggs in an altruistic and committed way to help a family.

Preparation of the recipient

The future mother is the recipient. It is important to prepare her uterus to receive the embryo, therefore she will be prescribed the appropriate medication to ensure a successful embryo transfer.

Donor ovarian stimulation

The donor must also follow a hormonal medication, as we will be stimulating her ovary to produce enough mature oocytes to guarantee a successful treatment.
